Of all the various roles I've held, it's HR that really draws me back in. People as precious things to be managed and nurtured. Like a shepherd herding animals that need help crossing the road without getting killed by an oncoming van.
So, like many shepherds of thoughts, here are my uninformed opinions for you to embed in your mind.
1. People aren't things. They aren't desks or chairs. They eat and sleep, too.
2. Training is eternal. You can't repeat the same fact enough times. Repetition is golden. Keep saying the same things over and over. It helps to be repetitive. Say things many times in different ways. It helps people understand if you rewrite the same thing over and over. Let people know the same things more than once.
3. Happy faces on materials create happy faces on the "resources." It's a fact. The more stock footage there is, the more connections you create with the real person reading your filth—I mean, your materials.
Now, AI: it's here, and it's transformative. In fact, "Transformer" is the actual name of the solution. No! It's not Bumblebee; it's really, really hard math.
But, since I don't know math beyond the second grade, I'm here to tell you how it works. First off, your prompt gets read by various employees at each AI company. For no other reason than that it's just so damn fun. Then, they store it in their real-time "fun" archive for later.
Next, your prompt is converted into tokens. You can think of it like an arcade coin-changing machine. From there, nobody knows. So, now you are an AI expert like everyone else on LinkedIn. Congratulations!
